The Haus Garnison Bed & Breakfast was first established in 1994 and is still under the same management. This gives you the peace of mind that your time with us will be comfortable and congenial. With only a short walk to the beach and the centre of town, you can experience the heart of Swakopmund and all its activities with minimal effort.
We have 12 newly renovated rooms and can accommodate up to 29 guests. Breakfast is served daily and can be enjoyed in our beautiful garden. We have ample parking for tour buses and offer garages to those guests arriving with their own transport.

For your convenience, our garden is equipped with braai (barbeque) facilities and access to the Wi-Fi. Making your trip all the more comfortable, whether it is for business or leisure.

With only a short 1-minute walk from Superspar (a grocery store) and a 5-minute walk to the town centre of Swakopmund, Haus Garnison is in the ideal location to experience this historically rich destination.

As you wander through the streets of the CBD, you will experience a combination of delicious aromas that fill the air from all the local cafes and restaurants. Each presenting their own unique flavour and style of cuisine.

Swakopmund is furnished with a variety of tourist attractions, fun activities and local stores that produce handcrafted items from leather products to jewellery and many more.

How about a nice stroll on the promenade? The Haus Garnison Bed & Breakfast is conveniently positioned only 2 minutes away from the beach and one of the most popular spots on the coast, The Mole.

Due to its mini bay, The Mole is naturally sheltered from the wind and swells. Making it the hotspot for sunbathing and swimming.

Swakopmund also has a 10km walkway that stretches along the beach. Perfect for a refreshing walk or a nice run.

  Lovely B&B
This lovely B&B has good and clean rooms (incl good showers).  There is a little garden area and lots of flowers. It is located near the Spar. The beach is about 5-10 min walk. The owner is a nice lady, very helpful.

  B&B gradevole, pulito e semplice. Consigliato se ci si ferma a Swakopmund
In questa pensione situata nel centro di Swakopmund, ho pernottato 2 notti in un tour Nomad. Appena arrivati, la titolare molto gentilmente ci ha accolti, spiegato le regole e assegnato le stanze. Ognuno del gruppo, aveva una stanza doppio ) o in alcuni casi, mini appartamenti. All’interno, per chi arriva in auto, vi è un garage dove poter parcheggiare. Il mio mini appartamento aveva 2 letti matrimoniali e, in aggiunta, nell’altra stanza aveva 2 letti a castello. Il mini appartamento era fornito di una mini cucina, frigorifero e un pulitissimo bagno con doccia. La colazione era inclusa e alla mattina, prima di uscire, c’era frutta fresca, yogurt, dolci o si poteva chiedere altre cose e una signora le preparava al momento. Molto comodo internet tramite wifi gratuito con ampio raggio per tutta la zona. Location pulita e gradevole, ottime colazioni, e comoda posizione in centro città.   Charming B&B in Swakopmund
Nice, big Room, and friendly and very helpful staff. However, the common areas are a bit small and overall less suitable for backpackers than other places in Swakopmund.

  Simples, limpo e bem localizado
Ficamos duas noiste, e creio que é uma otima alternativa. As instalaçoes sao simples com uma pequena cozinha. Tudo bem limpo e com uma otima localizaçao, proximo a praia e ao supermercado. O café da manha é basico e saboroso.

  Comfortable and welcoming
The room was clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The location was excellent being close to a supermarket and liquor outlet. The owner was very personable and looked after individual needs (in my case gluten-free breakfast, even baking a special loaf of bread for toast)

On ne pourras pas parler du rapport qualité prix dans la mesure où cet hôtel à été réservé pr notre agence de voyage. ( Africa eagle).
Les chambres sont vastes et très propres. Elles peuvent parfois accueillir une famille complète.
À côté d un supermarché les chambres possedent le nexessaire pour eviter d aller au restaurent. La responsable de l hôtel est attentive au confort de chacun. Elle parle anglais et allemand.
Le petit déjeuner est un moment réjouissant. A ne pas manquer les oeufs au bacon.
L hôtel est idéalement situé, proche de l ancienne gare, à deux du centre ville et de la plage.

  Felt like home
So great to get here all the way from Australia. The manager made us feel at home and was wonderful. Breakfast was excellent, wifi free and fast and very close to the supermarket, really great considering we had a room with a little kitchenette. 

Close to town as well so easy to wander around the whole town. A lot of local knowledge and we didn’t have to worry about anything. Very safe. 

Can’t wait to visit Namibia and Swakopmund again and would definitely stay here again.

B&B semplice, ma camere curate, pulite. Non è sicuramente una struttura che resta nel cuore, ma è ideale per soste di una o due notti in questa località.  E' abbastanza vicina al centro e al lungomare, in 10 minuti si arriva al Pier.   Colazione suficiente, wifi attivo.
